Aaron Judge started the Yankees comeback with a home run in the seventh. Again Judge provided offense in the eighth inning with a double that drove in Jacob Ellsbury to tie the game 4-4. Gary Sanchez hit a double that scored Aaron Judge and Didi Gregorius to give the Yankees a 6-4 lead that held as New York evened the series. Houston would fight back over the next three games to win this series in seven games, and then go on to defeat the Dodgers in seven games to win the 2017 World Series.
